During my undergraduate degree I worked at Redner's Warehouse Markets in Ephrata, PA as a cashier. I worked there for almost five years and I absolutely loved it! I have formed so many friendships with both customers and coworkers. I also loved having the opportunity to talk with so many different people every time I work. This experience has allowed me to constantly work on my problem-solving and leadership skills as well as develop an outgoing personality.
During my time there, I also had the opportunity to work as a corporate dietitian intern at Redner's corporate office in Reading, PA. Some of my activities included creating nutrition-related social media posts and videos, writing articles and blog posts for the Redner's HealthCents magazine and website, cooking and filming cooking demonstration videos, updating invoices and content material for Redner's TasteStations located in individual stores, and being a part of community outreach programs and health fairs. This experience has taught me how to be resourceful and creative in a professional manner.
My time working as a corporate dietitian intern immensely prepared me for my academic classes (both undergraduate and graduate), dietetic internship, and future career as a registered dietitian.

In addition to my work experience, I have also volunteered as a food service team member for Campabilities (a camp for visually impaired children). My job during this camp was to help buy, prepare, and serve all meals to the campers, coaches, and staff. This was an amazing experience that helped shape me into a quick learner and an excellent team player.
