Research and Development
Below are a few links that demonstrate the type of work that I am capable of, as well as immensely interested in.
- "Lesson Plan" is an educational lesson plan I created for an elderly population on how to eat healthy on a budget.
- "Community Assessment" is an assessment I performed on Chester County including three main health issues prevailing in this county.
- "Assessment Plan" demonstrates the next steps I laid out based on the results I found from my community assessment. I chose to focus on food insecurity within Coatesville, PA and included action plans that would help contribute to a permanent solution to this crisis.
- "Nutrition Research" is a research paper I created focusing on resveratrol, a polyphenol found in grapes, and its components allowing it to reverse and control hypertension.

Social Media Posts
Below are a few examples of the social media graphics I have created for Redner's Facebook page. They are fun to look at and easy to read! I have also included the text below that goes along with each graphic!
Know Your Facts About "Good Fats": “Good fat” is a term people throw around pretty loosely. But what does that term really mean? “Good fats” refer to foods that contain monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats because they don’t raise your LDL cholesterol, making them beneficial for your heart. Foods that have these fats in them include vegetable oils, avocados, olives, chia seeds, nuts, fatty fish, and eggs. But just because this fat is “good” doesn’t mean you can eat a ton of them. Remember that fats are supposed to contribute about 30% of your daily diet! #RednersHealthCents#AmericanHeartMonth
American Heart Month: Valentine’s Day hearts aren’t the only ones that matter this month. February is American Heart Month! All kinds of factors contribute to our heart health including our diet, weight, physical activity level, stress, and lifestyle habits. Is your health important to you? If so, take it to heart and make a difference for yourself! #RednersHealthCents #ListenToYourHeart #AmericanHeartMonth
January: National Soup Month: January is National Soup Month and we sure know why! With these freezing temperatures and kids back in school we could all use some hot and healthy comfort food. This ‘quick and easy’ chicken noodle soup is the perfect solution for a fast dinner that the whole family will love! Stop by your local Redner’s for all the ingredients!
Listen To Your Heart: Did you know that heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the United States? One of the biggest contributors to heart health is our diet! That’s why it’s important to eat plenty of fruits, veggies, and whole grains every day and limit our intake of saturated fat and fried foods. #RednersHealthCents#ListenToYourHeart #AmericanHeartMonth
Get Moving!: Daily physical activity is so important for our health! Not only does it help us control our weight, but it also raises HDL (good!) cholesterol, releases endorphins (our feel-good hormones), and gives us more overall energy! Combine that with a healthy diet and your heart will be happier than ever!#RednersHealthCents #AmericanHeartMonth
Vitamin D: Vitamin D is crucial for a healthy immune system and bones. With the cold temperatures and lack of sunshine, many people tend to be lacking in Vitamin D during the winter months. Thankfully, the sun’s rays aren’t the only way we can get Vitamin D! Some of the best sources of Vitamin D include fatty fish like salmon and tuna, beef and chicken liver, eggs, cheese, and vitamin D fortified milk and yogurt.#RednersHealthCents
